A Million Different Lives in a Million Different Places

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

Why live one life when you can live a million different lives in a million different places?

This question has become a major tenant of my current philosophy. I grew up in a typical Midwestern town where traditional paths of life are expected and applauded. While I struggled to work through my fear and insecurity in seeking a different story for myself, I kept questioning what was going to give me that sense of belonging and fulfillment.

How do you find the thing to fill the void when you've never seen it?

Never tasted it? Never felt it?

Thanks to a very fortunate and terrifying turn of events (Thanks Laura and Dom), I was presented with fourteen weeks abroad and NO SOLID PLAN beyond the first three weeks. Yikes!

I didn't know at the time, but this trip would single-handedly change the course of my life forever.

At the time of that initial flight, I was a nurse that had recently taken the admittance exam for law school, with plans to apply while I was abroad. While I was out, I saw so many places, had so many experiences, and I met someone.

Someone mysterious, yet exhilarating, someone loud, yet delicate, wildly free, yet beautifully affected and crafted by others.

I met the world.

And she was not what I expected.

Long story short, I ditched the law school plans and designed my life to be all travel, all the time. During another five month trip abroad, I approached the idea of creating a space to celebrate and facilitate travel for others, to try and give as many people as I can the enlightenment that I've gained through my experiences and the experiences of those I've met.

Countless hours and input from heaps of other travelers has

culminated in this beautiful platform, known as

Millennial Travel Bible.

Welcome to our very large, very wild global family. We're happy you're here.
